The Role

As the founding Chief of Staff, you will be the cornerstone of Adaptable Intelligence. You will help accelerate the connection between vision and execution. You will thrive in this role, if you love to bring order to chaos, enjoy enabling innovation, and scaling operational excellence You’re equal parts pragmatist and idealist. You believe that operations isn’t about bureaucracy—it’s about liberating the team to focus on what matters most. You may have worn a chief of staff hat, launched teams in zero-to-one projects, or held ops roles at a startup that outgrew its office twice a year.

Responsibilities

  • Scale team operations globally: build systems that support a distributed, global-first team. Own internal tools, communication frameworks, knowledge management, and team rituals that maintain culture and velocity as we grow from founding team to scaled organization.

  • Unlock day-to-day execution: own business operations, including vendor management, legal coordination, compliance, and administrative infrastructure. Anticipate needs before they become blockers.

  • Drive strategic initiatives: partner with leadership to execute high-impact projects. You'll translate strategy into action and ensure follow-through.

  • Own the details that matter: you spend the most time on the details that create leverage—whether it's negotiating better terms with vendors, streamlining expense processes, optimizing office operations, or ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in operations, strategy, or chief-of-staff roles, preferably at high-growth startups or tech companies

  • Track record of building scalable processes from scratch and executing complex cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization

  • Bonus: Experience with AI/ML companies, familiarity with technical product development
